Fig halva sundae

This fig halva sundae has a wonderful combination of flavor and texture from the figs, halva, and pistachios.

  • 4 scoops of vanilla ice cream (more if you like)
  • 4 ripe figs, peeled and mashed
  • 2 ripe figs, quartered
  • 2 tbsps honey
  • 1 tablespoon pistachios toasted
  • ¼ cup halva chunks


  • Peel 4 ripe figs. Add them in a bowl and stir in the honey. Cut the remaining figs into quarters.
  • Take two glasses and spoon in a quarter of the mashed figs in each glass. Top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, a crumble of halva, a couple of quarters of fig and chopped pistachios.
  • Repeat the process and serve immediately
